upon our departure from n.c. in january, we promised our heartbroken girl her own "cousin phone." this weekend finally produced the fruits of that promise! L was so happy. she will not typically talk on the phone, but immediately found herself chatting away with grandma Cobb. grandma said that it got quiet for a moment and L said, "you can ask me any question you want." (boy I hope that will last a few years) on saturday she and daddy made us fresh orange carrot juice, and i made pancakes, syrup, and eggs. those are the little pieces of heaven that make me such a happy gal!
