An afternoon at Grandma W's

Grandma and Grandpa W are very hospitable while we are bound to apartment life! We took the sewing machine to Grandma and Grandpa's and L got to make her stuffed owl! (the first stuffed animal project) She picked out the fabric last night and has waited all day to make it. After, we wandered into the kitchen to find that Grandma had been a busy bee too! These are the cherries she picked from her tree, made pie filling and a yummy pie! We love Grandma!

Mushroom Jumper

This is the mushroom jumper I made that I had to beg L to put on for the picture.....little stinker.

Crafty Girl!

I was sewing a jumper for L today and she decided that she needed to make some pants for her Bear Bear! I helped her cut them out and turned the machine over to her! She loved it! She kept saying that it is so fun! She made 2 pair of pants, neither one fit because the seams were too wide, and a pillow! She found a pattern to make an elephant, so we went to buy her some fabric tonight and we'll work on that this weekend I'm sure. It is so fun to do things together we both love! She is growing up so fast!
