Here's to Mom!

Mom and I love the tradition of working puzzles!  Every time she comes to visit she works her way through a couple thousand pieces! Here are 1000 pieces that helped me get through a few apartment days. This puzzle was purchased at the D.I., can you spot the missing piece?  ha ha!  Here's to you mom!

Latest Sewing Project

I was so excited to come upon the pattern for the "Black Apple Doll" on a re-run of Martha Stewart this week!   I have been searching for patterns that L can sew, since every time I sit down in front of my machine she insists she needs a turn!  This pattern is so simple and fun for kids - the pattern is hand written and illustrated for kids to follow.  L named her dolly "Lola."  This happens to be a very popular name for many of L's pets, stuffed animals and such. I am surprised that she wants to carry Lola around with her Bear Bear.......talk about success!
